Not for nuthin'…. But….. Thursday's waking up clear and sunny on the coast — about 51° this morning with a high near 60 and a northwest breeze — while the Rockpile is still iced over and fogged in. Enjoy the blue sky today; Friday turns rainy and breezy, and Saturday gets windy and chilly up north. Here's how three corners of New England looked around 7:35 this morning.
Marblehead Harbor (BYC Oceanfront) — A clean sunrise. The sun is just up over the harbor, throwing a bright gold path across the water, and the sky is clear blue. Boats sit quiet on their moorings, the far shore is sharp, and the Boston Yacht Club float looks ready for the day.
Mount Washington North View — Still nothing but ice and fog on the lens. The summit cam is glazed over with rime, and you can't see past the glass. High winds and zero visibility up there this morning.
Great Eddy Covered Bridge, Waitsfield — Peak color under a soft pink-and-gold sky. The Mad River runs dark under the covered bridge, the red maple on the bank is still blazing, and the hills behind the farmhouse are lit with autumn light.

MOAM Out.
