Not for nuthin'…. But….. the Pats took care of the Jets at home, 26-19, and they're 4-2 heading into a short week. Quiet Monday otherwise, but Tuesday is a big one: Celtics open for real in the afternoon and the B's are in Dallas that night.
Short version: the Patriots beat the Jets, the Bruins are resting in first place in the Atlantic, the Celts tip off the season Tuesday at 3 in Detroit, and the Sox are home for the winter.
