The JET JWBS-14DXPRO 14-Inch Deluxe Pro Bandsaw

You don't often need a Band Saw.But when your need one.... you need one.

Two things that we love to build, Boats and Adirondack Chairs, have benefited greatly by the Bandsaw that we have had in our shop for the past 15 years.

At Nanepashemet, we love using this saw.

Makita RT0701C 1-1/4 HP Compact Router

Using a router to trim the details of a project indicates that a new level of professionalism is at work.

Tradespeople who use the router, care a lot more about their projects and its final appearances. A routed edge adds style and sophistication to otherwise utilitarian building materials. Nanepashemet usually finds itself using a Makita Trim Router in some capacity at all of our jobsites.

Makita LS1019L 10" Dual-Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw with Laser

This Miter Saw is not the model that we at Nanepashemet use.

Our Makita Chop saw is over 20 years old and still performs with flawless precision and power. We can't get a new one out of good conscience. But if we did, we would get this baby. Buy it and it will last a career of craftsmanship.

DEWALT Electric Pressure Washer, 2100 PSI, Jobsite Power Washer

Powering Through: The DEWALT Electric Pressure Washer, Your Ultimate Jobsite CompanionKeeping your jobsite clean is a cardinal rule at Nanepashemet.

Keeps the customers happy, organizes the project, and simply is the only professional way to go. A pressure washer travels with us usually to accomplish this important task.

This Dewalt power washer is good because it is light and portable, which is not always the case the with the larger gas powered models. We like it.

DEWALT 20V MAX* Impact Driver, Cordless, 1/4-Inch

Please don't call this a "Drill". It is a Driver and once you've used one you will never mistake it as a drill again. For power, this tool can't be beat as a means to drive in screws, bolts, nuts, or drilling holes. Master this tool and you will never shy away from a host of projects. It is a tremendous timesaver and gamechanger.

We at Nanepashemet have DeWalt, Makita, and Milwaukee models and the differences are minor and subject to personal preference. Buy one. Or three.

DEWALT Wet Tile Saw with Stand, 10 Inch, 15-Amp

Tile Saws are a tool that is central to the old adage the "you get what you pay for". There are a lot of less expensive saws on the market, but when you are working with quality tiles, these literally can't cut it without chip out and other unacceptable blemishes.

When we do a bathroom shower or tile floor at Nanepashemet, we don't cut corners... and we use this DeWalt beast.

It pays for itself literally after a job or so and is the type of tool that makes your reputation for quality.

BOSCH GBH2-28L 1-1/8" SDS-plus Bulldog Xtreme Max Rotary Hammer

For Demolition of Flooring to drilling into Granite, you need a Hammer Drill. Using any other method is a huge waste of time.

We have two of these Bosch tools and they make short order of tile bathrooms that have to be dismantled. If you have to split a boulder, these will drill the hole for your hammer and wedges to get into business.

Nanepashemet carries this everywhere. You don't always need it for a job but you always need it for situations that call for brute force.

Makita XOB01Z 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Cordless 5" Random Orbit Sander

For finish sanding or even a little project touch ups, Nanepashemet reaches for an orbital sander.

This type of sander eliminates the swirls or other sanding marks left by belt sanders or sheet palm sanders. Plus this baby is cordless which exponentially adds to convenience at the jobsite.

DEWALT Table Saw, 10 Inch, 32-1/2 Inch Rip Capacity, 15 Amp Motor, With Rolling/Collapsible Stand

The table saw is used to rip boards to width, while the miter saw is used to cut them to length. Together they form the one-two punch for your shop. When you have them set up simultaneously at your jobsite, you are in business.

This DeWalt model is a true beast with power that matches my Jet Shop saw. Yet it is light and portable. Easy to throw into your truck and get to your project.

Sooner or later, if you are serious about remodeling or other construction jobs, you will be seriously considering a saw like this.

DEWALT Circular Saw, 15 Amp, 57 Degree Bevel, Electric Brake

Probably the the basic power tool that people think about on a carpentry job is the circular saw. It is the old stand by and with good reason. In the right hands, it can be a tremendous time saver over lugging stock back to a stationary table say or band saw.

It is also one of the more dangerous saws and care must be taken to operate it without binding or kickback. This DeWalt has served Nanepashemet well and we carry it with us to all of our jobsites.

You should have one of these and learn how to use it.

Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen)

It didn't take long for us here at Nanepashemet to be totally dependent on Alexa.... indeed, she is like a staffer, only we don't have to finance her on the payroll.

We use our Echo to set timers, give verbal schedule reminders, tell us the temperature, predict the time it will take to travel to a jobsite, turn off the lights and answer our inane questions accurately.

And we haven't even scratched the surface.

If you don't have Alexa in your home or work, what are you waiting for?

Graco Magnum 262805 X7 Cart Airless Paint Sprayer

Painting is the finale of any project. And we generally hate to do it. Anything that will make this task easier is always welcome. For years, we have been trying different paint spraying systems.

Spraying generally is faster with better quality, but managing the machinery is a real pain. This Graco model is the only sprayer that we have used which we will recommend.

It is reliable, the paint does not have to be thinned, and it does a very good job. A little pricy, but you make your money back fast.

At Nanepashemet, we reach for this Makita model for many jobs that we used to use a reciprocating saw for. But the Multi tool is way more accurate than a Sawzall, and far easier to use.

This is the grinder that Nanepashemet uses for a ton of stuff on projects and at the jobsite. With the proper blade, it cuts and grinds metal or wood and is used freestyle to conform to all types of conditions.

Plus the blades are quick change requiring no additional tools or wrenches which is a big plus. Cordless is wicked convenient too.

If your don't have one already, you should buy this grinder.

Makita XVJ03Z 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Cordless Jig Saw

You can make the case that if you can only buy a single saw, it should be a jig saw.

Every time we run into a woodworking issue, we always evaluate whether the jig saw can be used because of its versatility and convenience.
