Not for nuthin'…. But….. that nor’easter finally shuffled offshore, and Tuesday’s webcams are still wearing the leftovers.
Marblehead Harbor is flat-calm under a solid gray lid — boats lined up on the moorings, kayaks and paddleboards racked on the BYC dock, the far shore soft in the mist. Mount Washington’s North View is a full white-out, raindrops plastered across the lens and the summit nowhere to be found. Down in Waitsfield the Great Eddy covered bridge is putting on a show — Mad River like glass, fall orange and gold finally lighting up the banks, that little American flag still hanging in there.
Coastal Massachusetts woke up cloudy and quiet after the storm. Vermont’s already showing the foliage payoff. Pack a light jacket if you’re headed out — highs only mid-60s.
