Busy Outlook

Today...., a quick jaunt over to the Salem Waterfront Hotel to check out a work item for Mike Rockett, then lunch with a customer in Central MA, then dinner at the UMASS Club in downtown Boston with Keith DiMatteo who is going to revamp the Nanepashemet Telecom Website.
~
Plus, the day starts off bad because Katelyn used all of the towels and brushed her teeth with my toothbrush during her 23 showers this weekend.
~
Work on the Dory looks unlikely.

Being a leader in the water purification industry was a natural fit for us folks. We of course turned to collecting water in buckets and watever container we could find, raising a fire (we was good at making fires, in our blood, pappy said)boiling water, and, with the crops we helped the neighbors harvest, we vertically organized ourselves into a new liquor distribution organization. The competition being held in check what with the calamities to their production lines, us Swampers (that is what they called us) were the only fix in town. Right soon, we was back in the game, fixin' the corn mash, and keepin' an Eagle's eye out for outsider agitators. Me and Shoo Fly did this from atop them trees, mostly Cypress, a swingin and a swayin. I felt so close to the Almighty then, it was like being in church, ceptin' there waren't any young lasses around to get myself ornery about. Pure. I was at one with nature, unnatural acts with Sal the mule aside. In my free time, I took to cataloging the birds I saw whilst up in them trees, they were all perty, sho nuff, and they all ate real good. I came to know all their habitual behavins' and came to enjoy the time away from Pappy and his mandatory floggins. I was sure I could walk this earth at one with the birds of the sky and the beasts of the forest. Wearin' skivvies be damned. I was gonna roam to earth, eatin' birds and doin' nothin'.
