- ....and the freaking squirrel.

Some folk cry for woodpecker pie,
And some folk coo over woodpecker stew,
but if you've never heard of a pressure cooked bird,
I'ma willing to bet that you ain't et yet.
Brings me back to the days, I tell ya, thinkin' of them birds, basting them in savory dressings over an open flame. All these forest skills I learnt was of good use when I was hoboing on the railways of this fair country. Did I ever tell you about that? Surely I did. Well, it bears repeatin' pull up some ground and set a while . . .
