AFC Champions.

Not the Pats. Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts deserved the win and the trip to the Superbowl, primarily by their defense, but Manning is the real deal.

The Patriots played very well to stay with the Colts, who just seemed to be relentless on both sides of the football. It was a great season.

My only problem is Tony Dungy thanking the Lord for the win. I think that the Lord is probably neutral with regard to who wins a professional football game.

J.-

I hate to try to make excuses for a PATS loss but some of those calls by the refs were out of control. Roughing the passer......barely touched him, more of a graze. The no pass intereference call in the end zone.......their d-back didn't even look at the ball and held our receivers hand. So while the Colts did come out swinging in the second half I gotta say the the NFL finally got what it wanted, their Poster Boy Payton Manning going to the superbowl. The only good thing about that is now refs making calls like that for him hopefully won't happen again.

He probably thanked the Lord out of sheer gratitude and his overall success to get to that point. I see no harm in it.

5yd penalty hurt the Pats.

The fact remains. Did God root for the Pats or the Colts?
